This pivotal evening role combines hospitality excellence with financial precision in our oceanfront property. You'll manage overnight operations while ensuring seamless transitions between day and night shifts, all while enjoying the vibrant energy of Virginia Beach's nightlife district.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all front desk operations during evening hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Process guest check-ins/check-outs and manage room assignments
- Balance daily accounts and prepare comprehensive financial reports
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for urgent requests
- Monitor security systems and building access protocols
- Prepare end-of-day paperwork and shift handover documentation
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong accounting and cash handling skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism landscape
