Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-ins/check-outs and renewals
- Assist patrons with digital resources, research tools, and catalog navigation
- Process new materials using ILS systems (training provided)
- Conduct community outreach programs and educational workshops
- Maintain orderly stacks and enforce library policies
- Support interlibrary loan and document delivery services
- Collaborate with team on special events and seasonal initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with patience and empathy
- Basic computer literacy including MS Office suite
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light physical tasks
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
