Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service assisting patrons with digital resources, catalog searches, and reference inquiries
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-outs, returns, and fine processing
- Organize and maintain library materials including shelving, inventory, and collection development support
- Facilitate technology assistance for patrons using public computers, printers, and digital platforms
- Coordinate and lead engaging community programs for children, teens, and adults
- Assist with event setup, promotion, and execution of library initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to library system reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; library science certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months customer service or retail experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and library management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in team environments
- Basic knowledge of library organization systems and Dewey Decimal
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
