Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-in/out, renewals, and fine processing
- Assist patrons with research, digital resources, and technology troubleshooting
- Organize and maintain library materials using Dewey Decimal System
- Coordinate community programs and outreach initiatives
- Process new acquisitions and maintain accurate inventory records
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and via phone/email
- Support inter-library loan systems and database management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and library management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of library classification systems
