Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist patrons with resource navigation, technology support, and program registration
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and fines processing
- Organize and maintain library collections, ensuring accurate shelving and inventory management
- Support digital literacy initiatives by assisting patrons with computer use, e-resources, and database access
- Coordinate community outreach events and literacy programs for diverse age groups
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible library environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or library operations
- Proficiency in library management systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic knowledge of digital resources and assistive technologies
