Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at service desks and digital help stations
- Process, catalog, and maintain library collections using ILS systems
- Lead community outreach programs and literacy initiatives
- Assist patrons with research, digital resources, and technology troubleshooting
- Manage circulation operations and interlibrary loans
- Develop engaging programming for diverse age groups
- Maintain organized, accessible library spaces
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in library science or related field
- 2+ years library operations or customer service experience
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (e.g., Sierra, Koha)
- Strong knowledge of Dewey Decimal System and cataloging standards
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and navigate library stacks safely
- Experience with digital literacy instruction and maker spaces
