Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-ins/check-outs, renewals, and account maintenance
- Assist patrons with research, digital resources, and catalog navigation
- Organize and maintain library collections with precise shelving and inventory control
- Develop and implement engaging community programs for diverse age groups
- Provide technical support for public computers, printers, and digital services
- Collaborate with team on collection development and space optimization
- Uphold library policies while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Library Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years library or customer service experience
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS) and digital resources
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of cataloging principles and Dewey Decimal System
- Certification in library technology or archival management a plus
