Responsibilities
- Manage daily circulation operations including check-ins, check-outs, and renewals
- Assist patrons with catalog searches, digital resources, and reference inquiries
- Process new materials and maintain accurate inventory records
- Organize and shelve library materials according to classification systems
- Support youth and adult programming coordination
- Provide basic tech support for public computers and digital devices
- Contribute to collection development through patron feedback analysis
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years library or customer service experience
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS) and MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Basic knowledge of Dewey Decimal System
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if required for outreach duties)
