Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026 horizon, identifying disruptive trends across tech, climate, and social domains
- Develop and communicate future scenarios to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions for emerging markets
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and industry roundtables
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist team
- Integrate foresight frameworks into corporate strategy and decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
