Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs simultaneously on neighborhood trails and parks
- Provide attentive care including feeding, hydration, and waste cleanup
- Maintain detailed pet behavior and health logs for each client
- Administer basic medications as instructed by pet owners
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming services
- Build strong client relationships through consistent communication
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed-specific needs
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Must pass comprehensive background check
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
