Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages with precision and artistry using premium beans and equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Train new team members on beverage recipes, safety protocols, and customer engagement
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of all workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Contribute to inventory management and quality control of coffee products
- Participate in seasonal menu development and promotional events
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee knowledge
- Expertise in espresso extraction, latte art, and alternative brewing methods
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for creating customer loyalty
- Food safety certification (ServSafe) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
