Responsibilities
- Masterfully prepare specialty coffee beverages using advanced techniques and premium ingredients
- Train and mentor junior baristas on brewing methods, customer service standards, and product knowledge
- Develop seasonal drink menus incorporating innovative flavor profiles and local ingredients
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and quality assurance of coffee beans and supplies
- Exceed customer expectations through personalized service and coffee education
- Maintain immaculate workspace and equipment according to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and community engagement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee expertise
- Advanced knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to train and lead barista teams effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with a flair for creating memorable experiences
- Certification in coffee brewing (e.g., SCA Barista, Roaster, or Brewing) preferred
