Responsibilities
- Execute premium coffee preparation using advanced techniques (pour-over, espresso, cold brew)
- Mentor and train junior baristas on beverage excellence and operational standards
- Develop seasonal menus featuring single-origin beans and signature creations
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance for coffee beans and equipment
- Lead customer interactions with personalized recommendations and exceptional service
- Collaborate with roasters on bean selection and flavor profiles
- Maintain pristine café aesthetics and hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art certification
- Proven leadership in fast-paced hospitality environments
- Expert knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and brewing science
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Food Handler's Certificate and ServSafe certification preferred
- Portfolio showcasing latte art and specialty beverage designs
