Responsibilities
- Execute complex coffee preparations with precision (espresso, pour-overs, latte art)
- Train and mentor junior baristas on advanced techniques
- Develop seasonal menu innovations using premium local ingredients
- Manage inventory control and quality assurance protocols
- Foster premium customer relationships through personalized service
- Collaborate with roasters on bean sourcing and profiles
- Oversee daily café operations during shifts
- Participate in local coffee competitions and events
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with award-winning credentials
- Expert-level espresso machine proficiency and latte art mastery
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing, and brewing science
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment
- Food Handler's certification required
