Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional table service and beverage recommendations to discerning guests
- Process payments accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and presentation
- Maintain pristine dining areas through efficient table resets and station maintenance
- Execute opening/closing procedures including inventory checks and sanitization protocols
- Adapt to peak-hour demands while maintaining composure and service quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in fast-paced restaurant or bar environment
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings (4 PM - 1 AM), and holidays
- CA Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional multitasking abilities with attention to detail under pressure
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, wine pairings, and dietary restrictions
- Proficiency in reservation systems and POS technology (Toast/Shopify preferred)
