Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, on-leash walking services for 3-5 dogs per group
- Administer medication and specialized care as requested by pet owners
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, behavior, and pet conditions
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Build lasting client relationships through exceptional communication
- Participate in weekend and evening shifts based on client demand
- Complete monthly pet care certifications and training modules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification for pets
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk in various weather conditions
- Clean background check and driving record check required
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
- Must live within 15 miles of Omaha metro area
