Responsibilities
- Conduct professional and safe dog walks tailored to each pet's breed, size, and energy level.
- Administer medication and follow specific feeding instructions as directed by pet parents.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle for transport, including waste disposal.
- Provide daily photo and text updates to pet owners to ensure peace of mind.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and local leash laws in Boston neighborhoods.
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in professional dog walking or pet sitting.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Deep understanding of dog behavior, body language, and safety measures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Background check clearance and proof of liability insurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a significant plus.
