Responsibilities
- Process high-volume transactions with 99%+ accuracy using POS systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service during peak shopping hours
- Execute inventory management and merchandise presentation
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Train junior staff on store procedures and service standards
- Contribute to store security protocols and loss prevention
- Participate in quarterly performance reviews and skill development
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years high-volume cashier experience
- Expertise with modern POS systems (Square, Shopify POS, etc.)
- Proven track record in upselling and customer retention
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong mathematical aptitude and cash handling accuracy
- Professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
- Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation
