Responsibilities
- Execute efficient and accurate cash register operations, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and in compliance with company policy.
- Greet every customer with a professional, welcoming demeanor to ensure a premium shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with patience and diplomacy to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
- Assist in maintaining the visual presentation of the sales floor, including folding merchandise and restocking shelves to brand standards.
- Upsell products and promote loyalty programs to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
- Secure the cash drawer and reconcile daily sales reports with accuracy.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support inventory management and stock replenishment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred (High school diploma or equivalent required).
- Proven ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting boxes up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude are essential.
- Basic math skills for fast and accurate billing.
