Responsibilities
- Expert Beverage Preparation: Craft high-quality espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, and cold brews according to strict quality standards.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms spotless and sanitized at all times.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of beans, milk, and supplies; notify management when reordering is needed.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our digital POS system.
- Training: Assist in training new hires on our brewing techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of professional barista experience preferred, but enthusiastic beginners with strong coffee knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficiency in latte art and knowledge of coffee bean origins is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliability: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
