Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends impacting 2026 business landscape
- Produce strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops for future scenario planning
- Analyze socio-technological convergence points for competitive advantage opportunities
- Lead quantitative and qualitative research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Integrate future-proofing principles into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
