Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks
- Design scenario planning models for 2026 market landscapes across AI, biotech, and sustainability domains
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and strategic whitepapers for board-level decision making
- Partner with innovation labs to prototype future-state business models and customer experiences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact in previous roles
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
