Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and technological convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities for 2026+
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer emerging fields
- Drive adoption of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) across organizational functions
- Mentor innovation teams while maintaining a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 or unicorn companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Deep expertise in technology convergence patterns and disruptive innovation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading global teams across multiple innovation disciplines
- Portfolio of implemented innovations generating >$100M in value
