Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to transform futuristic concepts into market-ready prototypes
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business strategy
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and tech pioneers
- Develop patentable intellectual property in next-generation technology domains
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-disrupting products/services
- Expertise in emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, climate solutions)
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D pipelines
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
