Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech) and their business implications
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for market expansion and innovation portfolio
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product development priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Create foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Prototype and test future-focused business models in controlled innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-focused internal capability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technological disruptions with documented impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
