Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models and innovation roadmaps for sustainable competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present compelling narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership publications
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for integration opportunities
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight team to institutionalize future-thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with demonstrated executive presentations and published thought leadership
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications by 2026
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change initiatives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
