Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year vision alignment for product development
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Partner with R&D to commercialize breakthrough technologies with $50M+ potential
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors, partners, and board members
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed innovation into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
