Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026+
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed future-focused innovation into organizational DNA
- Produce thought leadership content including trend reports, scenario analyses, and white papers
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into practical business strategies with measurable KPIs
- Mentor junior team members in futures thinking methodologies and strategic innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, Quantum, Biotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to develop and communicate long-term scenarios with executive audiences
- Strong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with portfolio of published thought leadership
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies including Delphi, SWOT, and STEEP analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic recommendations implemented by organizations
