Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map 2026's technological shifts across AI, sustainability, and human augmentation
- Develop future scenario roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional moonshot projects with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global innovation summits
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers using predictive analytics tools
- Interface with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with market evolutions
- Patent breakthrough concepts in emerging domains like neural interfaces and climate tech
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of applied experience
- Proven track record of forecasting tech disruptions with 90%+ accuracy (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review) or equivalent
- Proficiency in AI trend prediction tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter) and data visualization
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding from public/private sources
- Fluency in at least two future-critical languages (Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish)
