Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the 2026+ innovation roadmap through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Research and synthesize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into strategic priorities and investment decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, industry experts, and academic thought leaders
- Champion disruptive innovation initiatives across product, marketing, and operational teams
- Deliver compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through data-driven presentations
- Monitor and report on emerging risks and opportunities in the innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-leading products or strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (e.g., Business Model Canvas, SWOT, PESTLE)
- Experience managing cross-functional innovation teams and $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, podcasts)
