Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product innovation roadmaps
- Quantify future scenarios using predictive modeling and data-driven trend analysis
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market disruptions
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership on future-of-work paradigms
- Advise executive stakeholders on risk mitigation strategies for technology adoption curves
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning with demonstrable impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and systemic analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial opportunities
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS or similar) strongly preferred
