Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) to identify high-impact opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for black swan events and exponential technology shifts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Proofing' workshops with engineering, marketing, and operations teams
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with data-driven forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Design and pilot innovation sprints for next-gen products/services targeting 2026 launch windows
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market shifts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
