Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-7 year adoption potential
- Drive strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies and tech forecasting
- Secure and manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven disruptive innovation track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Strong background in sustainability tech integration and ethical AI frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
