- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough innovations across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor committees
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend forecasts
- Manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with focus on innovation
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Strategy (preferred)
- Portfolio of successfully implemented innovation initiatives
