Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Design innovation frameworks for prototyping next-gen products and services
- Partner with R&D teams to validate technical feasibility and implementation roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Establish KPIs for tracking technology adoption and ROI of innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (blockchain, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Deep understanding of technological convergence and paradigm shifts
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience building innovation pipelines and managing R&D budgets >$10M
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-tech commercialization
