Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead discovery and evaluation of emerging technologies with $50M+ R&D budget
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate futuristic innovations into commercial offerings
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and internal ideation programs
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, biotech, or clean energy
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience building cross-functional teams across global operations
