Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 3-year technology strategy targeting 2026 market readiness
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, carbon-negative AI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and commercial teams
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks for next-gen tech landscapes
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP protection for proprietary innovations
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching future-facing products (2020-2025)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep familiarity with global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-tech initiatives
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
