Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with transformative potential
- Design proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging tech integration (AI, quantum, Web3, etc.)
- Collaborate with product teams to prioritize R&D investments based on strategic impact
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to access cutting-edge research
- Establish ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies at enterprise scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption scenarios
- Credibility with C-suite executives and experience influencing technology investment decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies preferred
