Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning for technological black swan events and regulatory shifts
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof systems and user experiences
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership on technology's societal impact and ethical governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into executive narratives
- Experience with horizon scanning and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Strong understanding of global regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
