Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype technologies for 2026 market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive innovations
- Design and execute R&D roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic vision
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior researchers in experimental methodologies and future-proofing
- Author white papers on technological forecasting and adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with proven innovation track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio of launched products or research breakthroughs
