Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging technologies with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Develop patentable frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems and neural-network biocompatibility
- Coordinate with MIT and Stanford research labs on next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present technological roadmaps to C-suite and venture capital partners quarterly
- Mentor PhD researchers in rapid prototyping and ethical tech deployment
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through strategic stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI or quantum computing
- Proven track record leading tech initiatives with >$1M budgets
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience with biocompatible hardware integration and neuro-interfaces
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
