Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and answering inquiries with a friendly, professional tone.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain the visual standards of the store by organizing merchandise, cleaning displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and processing incoming shipments.
- Identify and recommend products to customers based on their needs and preferences to increase average transaction value.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and uphold company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
