Pawsome Walkers DC is currently seeking dedicated, energetic, and reliable Full-Time Dog Walkers to join our premium pet care team. In this role, you will ensure the health, happiness, and safety of our clients' furry companions. You will manage daily exercise routines, administer medication, and provide top-tier customer service. If you have a love for animals and a professional approach to work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily dog walking routes throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under your care, monitoring for any signs of distress.
- Manage feeding schedules and administer medication or supplements accurately.
- Keep play areas and equipment clean and sanitary at all times.
- Provide photo and video updates to pet owners via our mobile app.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and leash laws.
- Handle administrative tasks such as time-clocking and incident reports.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of professional dog walking or pet sitting experience.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of dog body language and behavioral cues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle energetic breeds (e.g., Labradors, German Shepherds).
- Must be available for full-time shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Proof of current pet insurance and a clean criminal background check.
- Must be a US citizen or hold valid work authorization.
