Responsibilities
- Execute daily dog walking routes, ensuring all pets receive adequate exercise and socialization.
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, reporting any issues (e.g., limping, lethargy) to the owner immediately.
- Feed pets according to specific dietary requirements and administer medication if necessary.
- Ensure clean and safe environments by properly disposing of waste and maintaining equipment.
- Communicate effectively with pet parents via app or text updates regarding drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic regulations while walking dogs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality are essential.
- Must pass a background check and provide proof of vaccinations.
- A valid CPR/First Aid certification for pets is a plus.
