Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit card payments
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge assistance and issue resolution
- Maintain organized checkout stations and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and visual merchandising
- Uphold store cleanliness standards and safety protocols throughout all shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations during peak hours
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail/cashier experience preferred
- Strong numerical accuracy and proficiency with point-of-sale technology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve customer concerns diplomatically
- Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance with flexible availability
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
