Responsibilities
- Greet & Assist: Welcome customers warmly upon entry and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping journey.
- Transaction Processing: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with 100% accuracy.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash registers, process credit/debit transactions, and balance daily drawers accurately.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags, receipts, and supplies.
- Product Knowledge: Assist customers with locating products and provide information on promotions or store policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic math skills and strong attention to detail are essential for handling cash and inventory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in various weather conditions (e.g., unloading trucks).
