Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Handle cash registers with strict adherence to company policies and accounting procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area and store floor.
- Bag items efficiently and assist with carrying them to customer vehicles when necessary.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager.
- Participate in inventory checks and restock shelves as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash and make change quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
