We are looking for detail-oriented candidates who can handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately, processing various payment methods including cash, credit, and digital transactions.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival, answer inquiries, and provide product recommendations with a friendly demeanor.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle cash drawers with strict accuracy, balancing daily receipts and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with inventory management by tagging new stock and organizing shelves as needed.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) occasionally.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
