Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Deliver outstanding customer service through product knowledge and friendly interactions
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Handle returns/exchanges per company policy with professionalism and empathy
- Operate bagging equipment and ensure proper merchandise handling procedures
- Participate in store opening/closing routines including security protocols
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales and service goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year retail or cash handling experience preferred
- Proficient in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong numerical accuracy and cash reconciliation skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of retail safety and loss prevention practices
