Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash drawer accountability
- Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Bag merchandise efficiently and offer carryout assistance when needed
- Scan and price items while ensuring product quality and freshness standards
- Monitor checkout area cleanliness and restock supplies as required
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong math skills and attention to detail with cash handling
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic office equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
